Put
out in December 2001 as a result of project “Songs
for Srebrenica.” In the Netherlands and Tuzla, Vrouwvolk
sang both Bosnian poet Mak Dizdar's poems set to music and
traditional Bosnian songs for the women of Srebrenica. A
songbook with the music and lyrics were released with the

The
colorful choir Mihira, comprised of women from many different
nationalities, sings traditional children’s songs
from all around the world for children of all ages. The
CD and songbook are part of an educational project initiated
by Art education North-Holland in collaboration with Muselaer,
SKV Noord-Kennmerland and SKV West-Friesland. CD: €

The
Regional Youth Orchestra from the Alkmaar music school Artiance
together with the saz ensemble from the Aslan Music Center
in Amsterdam play the Weast suite. The orchestras are under
the direction of Otto de Jong and Zuhal Gezik, respectively.
